According to Pasadena Now, a ShotSpotter alert led to the arrest and recovery of evidence. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert, police spotted a man and approached him. When officers attempted to make contact, the suspect pushed one of them and fled on foot. After a short pursuit, he was detained and according to police, was discovered in possession of a Glock 29, a 10-millimeter pistol, a tan Springfield 45 caliber pistol, and narcotics believed to be cocaine and meth. Further investigation also led to the discovery of two shell casings in the area described by the ShotSpotter alert. The man faces numerous weapons and narcotics charges.
